A Portrait Session with Keeley inspired by a Reformation Dress

Shooting with Keeley is always a joy. She is a bright light, wise beyond her years, and full of happiness. It’s been so exciting watching her grow in her career and to see all of the fun shoots she is apart of!
I was woking with Keeley on a separate project (journal post coming soon!) and wanted to do a second outfit change and shoot some at a Bird Sanctuary right across the street. I saw she had this Reformation Dress and had to photograph it!
Reformation has been a favorite clothing store of mine for years. I love their effortless feminine couture vibe, and the fact that they are a sustainable clothing company is a bonus. I have a few of their dresses and I absolutely adore them. This tea-cup blue floral print reminded me of afternoons in the Netherlands sipping tea in blue and white china. I’ve seen this style a lot this summer and I think it will always remind me of the summer of 2021.
This was a very simple styled shoot, and remembering what my Grandmother taught me: simplicity is key! Styled shoots don’t always have to be so froo-froo and over the top. It’s fun to get back down to basics and let the magic happen!
P.S: Hey Reformation - feel free to sponsor a post me ;)
